Plot: This is the story of the life of a young boy of the House Atreides after they were ordered by the Emperor to live on the unforgiving desert planet, Arrakis (or Dune), to take over the mining operations of the rich spice of the world.
But, they face multiple challenges and challengers to their position..
Opinion: Though we are all aware that this was the first science fiction story right before the age of Star Wars and Star Trek, this makes us feel like it's a combination of the vibes of Star Wars and the twists of GoT.
It may be a bit of a long and dragging book- but it is a truly wonderful piece of science fiction literature written.
Fact: There is also a movie based on this book of the same name, directed by Denis Villeneuve starring Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson and Oscar Isaac.
The movie is also set to have another part releasing next year or so!
