Plot: Buck, a dog that used to live happily in old Judge Miller's house in the Santa Clara Valley of California, gets sold by a drunk gardener to Canada to become a sled dog.

Opinion: This book is really moving and inspirational, at times. It also makes me want to hug my dog after reading about the harsh life of the poor sled dogs.
