No Country For Old Men
No Country For Old Men. One of the most amazing films I have watched today. It's about a hunter whose life changes drastically after he finds a 2 million-dollar bag after strolling through a drug deal gone wrong. He is then pursued by a psychopathic killer who wants the money. Javier Bardem's portrayal of Anton Chigurh is still fresh in my mind, he brings a psychopathic killer to life in his own style. It still sends shivers down my spine. That coin toss scene is now etched into my mind. A very well-written and directed film by the Coen Brothers. Josh Brolin is great as Llewellyn Moss, and Tommy Lee Jones is great as Sheriff Ed Tom. But the all-time best performance is Javier Bardem's as Anton Chigurh. This is going in my top 5 films list.
The movie is on Prime, and there are two versions of the film. A 118-minute and a 123-minute version, and I watched the latter. The movie will leave soon. Please watch it before it leaves. A masterpiece.
