Watched Vettaiyan today. The movie was released today in theatres, and I couldn't miss a Rajini film. Very entertaining. Good storyline. It's about an encounter specialist, Athiyan IPS,  who investigates the murder of a teacher. His team has Fahadh Faasil playing Patrick's behind-the-computer techie role. He brings a fun attitude to his role. Amitabh Bachchan, as the serious Satyadev, though he admires Athiyan, is completely against encounter killings. The intro shot of Rajini was a masterclass, really well-executed by the director TJ Gnanavel. Of course, the Rajini fights are really massy, really good fun. The only thing was the second half was a little draggy, the twist was not mind blowing but not expected as well. Good entertainer,
