Arcane (League of Legends) (Netflix)

 

CHARACTERS: Vi (Hailee Steinfeld), Powder (Mia Sinclair Jenness) , Vander (JB Blanc), Ekko (Reed Lorenzo Shannon) , Caitlyn (Katie Leung) , Jayce (Kevin Alejandro), Jinx (Ella Purnell) and Silco (Jason Spisak) 

PLOT: This is the story of Vi and Powder, two sisters from Zaun who lost their family in the war between the two cities, trying to survive each day in the lower city of Zaun with their friends who have no other choice but to steal from the upper aristocratic city of Piltover.
They are taken under the wing of a known fighter and resistance leader of Zaun named Vander, who is now retired and helps run the local bar- living a quiet life after a dark past which haunts him in the form of his old friend, Silco, who now returns to exact vengeance on him for what Vander to him years ago during the war.

Meanwhile on Piltover, a young scientist and researcher named Jayce is working to harness the power of the Arcane- a set of magical abilities only a select few possess in this world. 
Though he is ridiculed and shunned by the Academy, he finds a willing partner to sponsor his work and assist him in his research.

REVIEW: I like the animation and the writing of this show. 10/10
