Marshall
CAST: Chadwick Boseman (R.I.P, legend. Wakanda Forever!), Josh Gad, Sterling. K. Brown, Kate Hudson, Dan Stevens and James Cromwell...
Plot: (Based on a true story) A young Black lawyer travels around the U.S to protect innocent Black people from being imprisoned for a crime they never did. This is the story of Thurgood Marshall, the first Black U.S Supreme Court judge.
Thoughts: "It really shows how prevalent racism and racial prejudice is especially considering the fact that this movie was set in the 1940s (which isn't even that far back as some of us know people from that time period so it's not an ancient thing that people can bury it in) and we still had cases of racial violence and mistreatment today. And has it got better? You mean, considering the fact that young children are using a derogatory slur for fun? I don't think so. But, we will get out of this evil practice as a species one day. After all, as a wise man you all probably know once said, "I have a dream."
And the sad part is, there are still people thinking about the same stupid practice in the year 2026 AD.
How about y'all put some UNITED in the United States of America already?
